Climate Change

Climate Change

Climate change in Canada can be a big problem depending on the severity. Example, if the humidity and heat suddenly increased in Vancouver. That could bring some problems but nothing too devastating, if there were often hurricanes, that would be a massive problem. In recent years Vancouver has not been receiving too much snow, but if that increased from 1-2 inches to 2-3 feet, that would be a major problem. Though any type of change in weather could change human activity, an increase in heat could advise people to keep cool, stay in shade etc. While a major decrease in temperature would advise people to stay indoors and keep warm. So a climate change in any region would alter the way people act.

  1. Good discussion of the changes to Vancouver. Remember that you were supposed to discuss each region across Canada. Why would snow increase if the globe warmed? You need to explain this.
